Pilots should ensure that at least one of their radios (COM 2 being the most likely) is tuned to receive UNICOM transmissions in addition to transmitting and receiving on the published CTAF.
      Pilots also should read this post regarding the implications of using VATSIM UNICOM for CTAF. It provides some insight into potential pitfalls for the unwary when monitoring 122.80 in a CTAF environment.

      It's the day of the National Rugby League Grand Final in Sydney. We invite members of the VATSIM Network to fly virtual football fans into Sydney (YSSY) from 0300-0600z!
       
      Event Details:
      The aim of the Grand Final Fly In is to transport virtual football fans to Sydney in time for the game, which starts at 1700 AEDT.

      This Weeks Flight for Wednesday 5th October2022 is a flight in the Pyrenees near the Spain-France border. Departure from La Seu d'Urgell (LESU) in Catalonia with destination Pamplona (LEPP) in Navarre. Pamplona is where the famous running with the bulls takes place.
