New Regional Director Appointed
VATSIM has appointed our new Regional Director. Mark Richards has had a long time association with VATSIM and has been Division Director of both Divisions in the Region at various times. He was a Founder and the first Division Director of VATPAC and served two terms in the role. He was also a Founder and Division Director of VATNZ. Mark was one of VATSIM's longest continuously serving Supervisors and has been the Chairman of the Oceania RCRP since its inception. Mark is a New Zealander born and bred but been living in Melbourne, Australia since October 2002. Mark is looking forward to the challenge of his new role.
ABOUT
VATOCE is the Oceanic Region of the VATSIM Network, administering Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
VATSIM is a worldwide network dedicated to providing a simulated Air Traffic Control environment. Free software allows pilots to connect their home flight simulator software to the network to interact with other pilots and receive ATC from real people.
